I voted for John Riley as a Republican of Michigan concern, not national, I am profoundly dismayed with the Republican party and it seems ti be going against everything I learned going to school in the 60’s n 70’s about our branches of government, compassion for widows n children, and everything the statue of liberty stands for, which by the way passed up to 5,000 daily. As a daughter of many American Revolutionary Soldiers and Pioneers, I do not find the Federal Level of Republicans representing anything that I believe or stand for, so as this last email indicates, Riley is a Trumpster, and thus I will be looking at other candidates in the future AND fighting hard this fall and next year. I was wanting ro ask Rep Riley to propose limiting single plastic usage in Michigan as I have seen bags on beaches, in rivers often with some wildlife ensnared. But environmental concerns are not of this Republican Party agenda. If Rep Riley can focus on Michigan as he was elected to do, he may regain my support, but if he’s going to be politically attacking other parties and not direct issues, count me out. By the way, our birthrates r so low, it would be wise to accept dedicated passionate and proven newcomers, let them work legally and they will give back. We spent money investing in dreamers education and well being, wtf!!! What idiot would want them to leave?!!!

    What happened to common sense?

And why can a man have a vasectomy at any age over 18 and a women cant have a tubalization?

I AM PRO CHOICE and PRO WOMENS HEALTH and I dislike abortion, Ive adopted two, how many pro lifers have? Put up or shut up!!!!! Keep government out of vaginas. U start castrations, then we can talk!

I am signing off, greatly disturbed by the message I just received from John Riley’s support team, what an insult and total assumption!

    Donating to Elissa Slotkin regularly,

A constituant of John Riley, who seems to run with the pack,

I was wondering if you could send a campaign email to us. We are sending out a survey to all the candidates in the upcoming election and would like to send one to you as well.

    Thank you,

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend. Please continue to keep me posted on future events and activities in Lansing, especially news about education. I will definitely support your campaign (and I pray that you will not have any competition!).

I cannot make the event but will be sending in some support dollars.

Thanks for your continued help on the fight for electric choice.

The Utilities are trying to push the MPSC to apply a local capacity charge that far exceeds the ACTUAL MARKET for Generation established by MISO and it is NOT right or Fair.

The Energy Law that passed did NOT require local generation and yet its being pushed by Michigan Utilities who’s electric rates are the highest in the Midwest and the highbred system in MI is NOT the cause of that, its the Utilities continued over reach and the MPSC not pushing back and protecting rate payers. Utilities Testimony and press statements from 2008 promised new generation for getting 90% of all customers and they have not built any new MI based generation to meet the next 20 years as they promised. The MPSC should go back and study the numbers to make the Utilities build what is needed for the money they already collected. State employees have lost benefits since 2008 yet the utilities have continued to get guaranteed returns north of 7% and high as 10.5 % resulting in millions if not billions of dollars going to share holders since then.

I urge you and thank you for the continued fight for our right to choose and help save jobs through competitive electric rates in Michigan.
